DNA is negatively charged and therefore the dyes chosen need to be negative as well in order for the dyes to move in the same direction and be as close as a to a genuine DNA test. Based on the results, Brilliant Blue, Orange G, Cresol Red, Xylene Cyanol, Phenol Red, Bromocresol green, Bromophenol blue and Bromocresol Purple are negatively charged and thus selected. Toluidine blue and M-cresol purple were not chosen since they are positive dyes and moves in the opposite direction.
1.5% agarose gel is firmer and easier handle thus making it more user friendly which is important if the kit was to be sold to the public. Moreover the Dyes tend to stay longer in the1.5% agarose compared to 1% agarose gel., this is due to the higher concentration resulting in smaller pores and traps the dye for a longer period of time.

hey! guess what! this is our blog's 50th post! and i'm the one to post it haha. i rock:)
i'm posting real late cos i woke up at 12noon today then now waiting for 4am when man utd play against europe's best players and i wanna see man utd get thrashed and whacked lol.
liverpool have 4 players in the europe's best 11 squad: steven gerrard! (duh, the heart of liverpool) jamie carragher! (duh, the soul of liverpool) robbie fowler! (duh, he's 'god') bolo zenden! (duh??)
just thought i'd post to make my presence felt haha. and quite long also never post liao.
finished english, geog and physics hol hmwk liao:) left amaths and emaths. not bad, it's still only tuesday haha.
current girl situation: nothing happening at all, no feelings at all for anyone i guess. though i plan to ask a girl out in May to go watch Spiderman 3 haha.
yesterday went to play soccer with my church friends at a soccer court near my friend's house in punggol and we played against lots of Malays 4-against-4 and 1st team to score 3 goals wins and then the next team comes in. got lots of teams kept coming in and well.. my team played 5 and won all 5 haha.. and we played against malays man!!! they're really good.. but i'm better:) really boosted my goal average for the year haha. now at 177 which is quite ok. my team scored 15 goals and i got 13 of those lol.. once again i emphasize that we were playing against malays.. haha. if u've ever played against malays u'll know how fast, skillful and physical they are. i was even surprised at myself that i could play at the same level, if not higher, than them. somehow i have this ability/instinct to score goals better than anyone i've ever played with in my whole life before. (sorry for the bragging.. lol) anws.. bottomline is.. u get the point la haha...
go school & meet CRYSIz.. or no school & no meeting with CRYSIz?? hmm.... no school is better!! lol! but the best is no school & still meet CRYSIz haha

obviously im tooooo good looking (bleah) ha ha everytime teo 10 bucks donation haha
then this amina answer the door(maid) then dom ask 'donation?" then she say ' yes indonesian!"
HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHA

read the bible more

the chinese formatting isnt exactly useful for academic

therefore good outweight bad.

i am totally sianded no strenght liao chiong here chiong thereyesterday(saturday):jobweek in e morning made abt 40+++ then chiong for Kb then cuz my parents frens came chiong to this place called paris international seafood restraunt at taka(kinda like the international justice leage of super heros ha ha) well qute nice lar the food then i almost started a fight cuz this grp of punks took the WHOLE PLATE OF MARSHMALLOWAS AND DIPPED INTO THE FONDUE AND ATTEMTPED TO CHIONG OFF. ha ha well me being me with an acurate throw using a spoon hit their plate then kiang. then tehy look at me than i smile(evvile) then they just walk of yep things got pretty tense and if really fight 3 v 1 leh ha ha LOL start a fight over marshmallows. ha ha then quite fulling lar the fd than chiong home slp.today(sunday): huat lar my parents go to m;sia IM HOME ALONSE unfortunatley i have to slp over at my cousins. but who cares the house is mINEEEEEE ha ha....

i hope nothing hapens to u cuz i will hate myself for it....

i care so muuchhh for u..

went for sports day...
i thought she was there...
then i realised that she didnt come...

thought the girls were nuts...
but they were considered "better" thn normal alredi anyway so...acceptable lah...
even got to play with the girls (clarissa, alex, pris, sherm,etc)...
games were okay lar...

run like mad around the park...
then build sandcastle...
find alot of corals and shells...
but still cannot think clearly...
wondering why she nvr come...
maybe yun will find out in the meeting today...
until then i'll be sleeping some sleepless nights...
