dudes!!! haha i realised it's been almost a year since i last posted here so i better do one now.
was great to see you guys again on wed for mug-fest. the talking (as is tradition) in macs was fun. the studying was... fairly productive for me la. haha.
i just think it's quite a cool thing to see how we've matured as individuals as well as a group the last few years. and i'm really glad how we're still so close despite being split up in jc.
looks like things are going pretty well for all of us! YC and Cheang especially. lol.
hope to meet up again soon but i guess now the primary focus will be A-levels.

I GOT SOOOO DRUNK YSTD haha probarbly the first ones of yall to get so drunk.
im telling you i was soo wasted man
haha so anw was at east coast park ystd for class BBQ and someone brought a bottle of ruby red absolute vodka. so i drank like half a cup of pure and like 4 cups of mixed vodka with soft drinks,
then it rained so we went to macs and played drinking games, lost a few drank like 5 more cups or so.. haha i got so disoirentated i cldnt even walk staight, my classmate had to like drag me to the taxi stand to get a cab haha which i dint succeed in getting cuz i was so blur she had to help me find one as well haha thanks btw ^^. my face was all red, and when i got home i just puked over the balcony wahaha

yea not a good experience after the booze kicks in
so word of advice dont get too drunk, tipsy is fine....

my friend should be able to play drums. he said he's very interested. and he's quite used to playing either real drums or electronic set.

i say we take a group shot on 10 nov. and when we take the photo please dont look happy (look punk rock) and wear some nice clothes. not like cheang's shorts haha.

i won't be inviting many people. the ultimate most is like 5 haha. but most likely zero. i will give more slots to YC's friends:)

i suggest the name Hastily Assembled. since that's the name we used last year. and the name of the concert shall be "Hastily Assembled Returns!" haha! HASTILY ASSEMBLED!!!

Today,
woke up at 645 even thought theres NO SCHOOL cuz NO PAPER but i woke up early know why? cuz i knew SHE would take the lift at 710 and go to the bus stop so i camped outside my lift frm 705 until the lift went up to her floor then i pressed the down button haha
lift open and the beautiful face was inside.. but damn it her mum and her bro was in the lift with her this time.. aww mann she taking her parents car this morn awww man haha

SUPER AKWARD CAN i said hi to her and her mother was like o.O and she was like smiling at me and checking her mums expression LOL haha cldnt talk at all lar haha so akward.

looks like it's up to The Man to step up once again haha.
wow ysd was fun. going back to maris stella to see all our old teachers like mrs tey, mrs loh, ms goh, mrs champion, ms jazilla, mr low and mr chew. oh ya mr dennis koh too lol. dunno what they said to you guys but talking with them about stuff not relating to o-levels was pretty cool. and for once they weren't nagging or scolding me. lol:p
then we went to serangoon to buy snacks and dvds to rent haha. in the end only watch nacho libre then went to jam liao. actually i need to do work now so this post must be kept short haha.
was nice seeing renyi and ryan again yesterday. the bond with good friends like that still stay as strong even though you've been in different schools for a whole year:) and hanging out with YC and cheang doesnt come often nowadays too so spending time with them yesterday was fun. especially the travelling with YC haha!:)

i know it's not my shift, but since i haven't been posting frequently and i've got time now, i figured i better do one haha.
well.. i guess it's settled then! ironman!!!! yeah can't wait!!! hahaha
hmm... so far studies have been ok. i think i'm abit better than my sec sch state, not that that's much haha.. just been paying abit more attention in class and taking down lecture notes. but i totally don't understand anything so it's not much help haha.. think i'm gonna fail my mid-years.. seriously, i think i will..
personal life wise i guess i'm still trying to get over this major set-back. it's like a big boot to the face!! no actually i'm feeling it alot more in the heart area. seriously, i got heart pains lah. sometimes i wish i was davy jones and could cut out my heart and put it in a chest. heh.. it's just some heavy feeling la. anws.. that's just life..
life has its ups and downs, and in terms of soccer, there've been lots of that lately. downs are that liverpool are out of the champions league, out of the title race. only left man u and chelsea to slug it out. i'm taking chelsea's side on this one haha.. better than man u any old how. other downs are that cj's season is totally over and interclass football for sports day my class got knocked out in the semi-finals.
ups are that i was top scorer for interclass competition and have suddenly found myself in the cjc first team:) it's totally exceeded all expectations and aims for this year. haha. wow. really happy. i've been having super lot of mixed feelings lately. some days real happy, some days just sad. that's just life eh. topsy-turvy. hope you guys are doing fine! catch up on monday night:)

JC life has moved from challenging fun to plain challenging
being pushed to the max just to survive at a decent rate, which is kinda painful
a standard day in my life
slack time is actually TAWG time, and the so called "free time" is actually all for studying >.<
quite a change from last time when i would stop work at 6pm sharp and slack away the night, sleeping at 10pm :P

fitness has increased somewhat though
i'm possibly able to get a C for running which is a vast improvement from just pass and my pullups have hit a New High Score of 9.5 hahaha.
but shuttle run and sit and reach remain unsure, and standing broad jump is a huge obstacle hahaha....

studies are okay.
topping a few here and there like bio and chem and doing okay for the others hahaha
reminscing a lot with the marist stella people in school. darn really miss the school and everybody >.<

class is okay
surprisingly, with the exception of 2 3person cliques, there arent any cliques in my class O.o
teachers are okay also

run 2.4 in 12:20 [my running has levelled up! haha. i'm one of the fastest in my class. high score is currently 2km in 9:33mins, which isnt that fast but still quite levelled] then do 36 pullups [but in 11 sets] then do 50 pullups
cool ehh?

my pullups level is currently 8 now, still quite lot, but double that of MSHS
also, i think its quite stressful in JC coz everybody is all like, pretty smart 'yo!

whoo hoo!!! whoa good sia. my shift to post is after some things happened lol..
ok first up was the o-level results yesterday.. well.. i'm real glad to say that the whole of CRYSIz did reasonably well:) ryan with 8pts and renyi with 12. so i guess those two will be staying in NY.. YC with 11 and cheang with 12 so they probly staying in CJ. 12 was a big surprise for me cos it was my aim, looked impossible at one point when i was slacking away and thinking that i didnt really care abt the O's. but hey.. God is good man.. after much thinking and praying.. i think i'll be going to CJ. it's a choice i had to make and that's what i did.. and actually u guys can't persuade me or change anything cos i just submitted the JAE thingy. haha.. would have really loved to join ryan and renyi at NY too. i'm serious. but ultimately it's something i decided that wasn't for me. i mean i cant go to NY jsut cos of two guys right? that'd make me gay. and waht's worse.. a two-timing gay! o.O LOL..
anws.. CRYSIz outing at YC's today!!! haha... watched TMNT!!! which i bought the DVD last min yesterday just so we could watch today. lol.. oh man. it's seriously still good. all the action and stuff.. and raphael own leonardo!! haha. cheang still lose to me:p well.. we might look 16 and human.. but we're teenage non-mutant non-ninja turtles! haha. cleft is cute i must say. but stay away from me! lol. then had pizza!! it was a busy saturday for all of crysiz... Ryan had church Izack had churhc band prac Renyi had to go back to MSHS to see his CCA MAZE so did cheang... and cheang also had cheangy stuff to do... as for me.. i had to go back to my roots SCOUTS... the place which taught me independacne and self reliance... looking back at the pictures i really miss the field alot... haha. helped them a liitle here and there.. climbed the sturcucter when the CCA MAZE started and the band was playing the POTC theme song haha feels good to climb the structure to that song LOL haha pics with ashton posting soon... LOL

then aft that i chiong off for Keyboard lessons haha then chiong off 2 meet renyi at doby ghaut... LOL then met iz and his frens at paradiz food court haha iz renyi me and marie went to jam alogn with iz's twin frens of whom i have no idea who is who... jonathon and david... something abt them is just so fammilar...( get it? =))

for my verrrryyyy first crysiz post of the year i shall be giving like. an overview of NYJC life as it has been thus far [and in so doing prevent renyi from doing something similar]
hahaha!.
okay...

lets see.
my orientation. hmm.
i think. church camp is better xD
hahaha. like. games better, the people are more rara [although by now theyve thawed really well], the planning is better. (: which isnt saying NYJC's orientation is bad, mind you, but just saying that church is better xD
haha. but to the JC's credit the cheers are much better. and they've got a neat mass dance. granted, all JCs seem to say theyve got nice mass dances
but i think NYJC's is good in that it isnt too hard and there isnt too much guy-girl contact unlike *cough* CJC *cough*

okayy.
normal school life
the PE is supremely fun lah.
unlike secondary school PE we dont run as much but we do other fun stuff like lunges and crunches and pushups and stuff like that. but its quite stretching [which i define as good] and i find it rather fun
all the personal pushup and running training has paid off [slightly :P]

hmm. otherwise. lemme think

extra activities. NY's extra activities are much more well developed than MSHS'. haha. but our CCA maze is better though. :P theyve got fun stuff and meaningful stuff like erm, blood donation and trips to oil refineries and things like that.
but one drawback is that the activities seem somewhat last minute-ish.

haha. and now i'll talk abt blood donation.
it was cool kays
but its only cool like, before and after the blood donation. i was really freaked during the thing itself xD
but they gave away a lot of freebies like a stress ball thing shaped like a packet of blood [which btw is really cool. the packet looks kinda cool and the blood is really dark xD] and erm, a cert and an organiser and free drinks an biscuits!
haha. plus of course, the chance to give blood to other ppl and be nice :D

i feel less hyper now though, although i'm slowly regaining back.
and getting more cheerful. ish. xD

my sch physical activites are very nicely planned [although i dislike the timetable. must pray i get a more solid on for JAE!]

and all in all equates to 7hrs of activities, with bufffer times in school physcial activites compensated for in personal training [which i need to implement.]hahaha. thats very good lah. 1 hrs avg a day leh. super solid.

well the last few weeks have been great! we went to watch national treasure which was pretty cool:) played pool too. hmm.. what else did we do? ok i can't remember already haha. anws, u guys up for pool and jamming this saturday? about 2pm onwards. have to confirm with me by tmr so i can call up the studio to book:)
dang i'm dreading the o-level results more and more as each day passes by.. but i guess in the end it will all work out ok.. hopefully we'll all end up somewhere together. that'll be awesome. but somewhere good! haha xD

Yu Chen: it was such a difference meeting u for the first time in sec one and in sec 3, in sec one i guess maybe we were still too unfamiliar with each other, never thought i'd be ur friend one day, i guess god has really planned everything out for me and i can't escape his plans. there u came into my life again in sec 3. it was fun alright, sitting with u at the back, singing in class and irritating the hell out of the rest at the back. talked about alot and i really felt ok with u. found out u played a little bit of violin too. sec 4 was another long road. All the happy memories at ur house and ur songs are all in my head.Whether we go to nyjc anot, i hope that we'll keep in touch. May ur keyboards forever rock! P.S. try to improve ur voice, i know i'm not perfect but just giving advice :)

Ryan: woah, totally awed by u mate. sorta motivated me to study harder although i know u said u're just a mugger, not the criminal one. i can never forget ur laughs and candies. if it weren't for u, don't think i would have keep happy all the way with ur antics and tricks. whew.. today performed at YC's house. not bad i must say. considering the band was Hastily Assembled. LOL.. would have preferred if we had cheang and renyi but.. oh well.. since they at camp got no choice.. the songs were not say VERY bad.. i mean can bear with the sound lah. but also not say as good as when we jam at cheang's house.
first song: i don't love you. not bad i think. one of the better songs we played. i was playing lead guitar as usual. YC was lead singer.
2nd: we believe. i was on rhythm. YC on lead guitar.
3rd: Crazy. i was lead singer, YC on keyboard. dang, i think my singing was horrible and too low..
4th: what i've done. i was on lead guitar. YC on keyboard and lead vocals.
5th: Recess! think this one was quite good as usual. you know how it goes lah;) i singing while playing lead guitar and YC on keyboard. actually YC the keyboard for this help alot. cos before the chorus he do that slide and press all the keys on the piano thing so give me the cue to shout "recess!!" and then he got one cool piano solo that u guys have to hear next time. lol.
6th: don't call the cops when you see me in your house. written by YC. i think it was pretty nice. i like the effect that we go loud at the chorus. haha. and i think the meaning of the song is also.. meaningful. haha. good on ya mikey!
7th (last): empty. this one i sang and played lead guitar. YC with the cool keyboards again and backup vocals. think it was quite solid.

then so they asked for encore. then we played some chinese song and mary jane. then also encore for recess. so that was like 10 songs in total haha. think next time we get the whole band and try to have something similar again:)

yeah so i think it was pretty good. project spear-headed by YC. good organising, great keyboards and singing. i helped out by singing some songs and playing lead guitar. edwin play rhythm guitar. but no offence, i really rather have cheang. haha. cos we got chemistry since always play together. drummer who wishes not to be named was also good! and last but not least.. ryan! with the great sound mixing and setting up of mikes and stuff. couldnt have done it without ya mate!

yo dudes!! haven't posted here for awhile haha.. but since i've got 2 and a half hours til the liverpool vs porto game at 3am i'll do one. post o-levels have been pretty ok i guess.. we went jamming at cheang's, except ryan. then on friday YC got his thing so must practice tmr! too bad renyi and cheang got camp. then now no bassist and rhythm guitar lol. but got lead guitar, singers, keyboard, soundman, drums and rhythm guitar. don't ask me how we'll do it, but we'll pull it off hahaha. 12 songs (4 original: 2 by YC, 2 by me) hey YC! we should give the band performing on friday a temporary name! so on friday it seems much cooler lol.. don't need to be from our names lah.. just something random, like.. 3 Windows Up, or Fall In Boy, or My Physical Romance, or Purple 5, or Difficult Plan, or whatever.. lol..

wheeeeeeeee!!

its quite a letdown actually, "O" levels
at P6, i envisioned the end of "O" levels to be similiar to that of end of PSLE
not only a stress free environment, but one that we get to have fun in class together slacking away while the rest of the school slaves away at their EOYs.
yet, now the situation is reversed. we are slaving away while others are enjoying their holidays
it kinda makes one wonder, where are we going from all this?

life just seems to get sadder as we grow older
the only thing i can kinda see thats positive as we get older is that we get to get married! and our own house and we get to declare our own bedtimes and how much candy we get to eat everyday, but most of that we are alrdy doing.

yea. and After you get married you get the joy [?] of having children and then you just work harder and life just seems to be a system to give you more and more problems!

haha. but i think i'm really happy with my life right now.
i hope i dont sound too fatalistic. haha!

firstly id like to say... thank you for liking the new skin... spent some time on this new skin and gt scolded by my parents... initially the skin was a little not fit the screen so i streched it a little with html... wanna learn more html... next the links have to be re done and our profiles retyped(coming soon) and yeah quite some work... yeah so tiring man... haha

all in all, life has been quite interesting nowadays.
if it wasnt so dulled by the hmwk and revision that i've had to cram it wld be quite a nice stretch of life to enjoy.

i recently levelled up in terms of excercise
its another thing i'm very happy abt
that i've gotten into the swing of my pushups daily which gave the satisfaction of beating cheang in pushups. which isnt really something to be happy for. its quite a given actually. but Trashing him resolutely. thats nice. :D
PLUS, i've found a new running buddy!
haha. its quite amusing. we'll run at the same time, but different locations.
its gotten me galvanised to actually run.
